Flat River Group is seeking an Inventory Control Team Lead to assist the IC Supervisor in day-to-day IC functions at our Kentwood location. They will assist in performing daily cycle counts, bin allocation, inventory accuracy, and act as a liaison between the operations staff and the inventory team. This position will also assist Inventory Control leadership during audits, identifying and resolving any discrepancies if found.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, communicate well with other departments, and a desire to take initiative. They will also be responsible for training new IC team members as needed. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for supply chain and warehousing leadership experience!
Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead regular efforts to verify inventory within the Distribution Center.

Ensure IC team upholds all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety measures.

Responsible for leading employees, using a team approach to create a positive work environment.

Participate in operational improvement projects/events.

Maintain accuracy of all inventory transfers between DC’s, and units on hold.

Must be willing to work in any other department as needed.

Reconcile inventories and coordinate cycle count schedules.

All other duties as assigned.
