Summary:

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to join our maintenance team at Summit Biosciences Inc. The Maintenance Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Essential Duties:

 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and repair history.
  • Coordinate and communicate preventive maintenance/calibration tasks for equipment, machinery, and facilities, ensuring minimal disruption to production processes.
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to track and monitor equipment performance, identifying any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Order and maintain an inventory of necessary spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability for routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in the coordination of equipment repairs, working closely with external vendors or contractors to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
  • Generate reports and presentations summarizing maintenance activities, equipment downtime, and maintenance costs for management review.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Manages the flow of batch records, forms, and logbooks between areas and ensures completeness prior to review.
  • Attend departmental, inter-departmental, and project team meetings to support coordination of activities.
  • Assist with Manufacturing and Engineering operations as needed
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance clerk/coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including MS Office Suite and maintenance management software.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance principles, procedures, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
