Position Summary

The Dentist conducts a program of general practice dental care with responsibility for examination, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric and adult patients, emphasizing preventive care and instruction in oral hygiene. Provides dental treatment plans and advice to patients as may be indicated. The dentist will particularly serve as a family dentist seeing patients in all age groups and will serve as a consultant in dentistry to other health care professionals.  Attention to building trust in the community and the population we serve is paramount.  Focus on patient care practices tailoring to the Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC).

Experience and Education

  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
  • Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of California
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Must meet current dental continuing education requirements, at all times
  • Must possess current valid driver license and liability insurance
