Description

  1. Unload, inspect for damage, and check inbound goods to purchase orders or receiving slips.
  2. Arrange for warehouse storage & disbursement to end-users.
  3. Maintain record system on received & stored materials & supplies as well as their proper storage area.
  4. Maintain minimum inventory level on specified items and cycle count as requested.
  5. Keep purchasing apprised of damaged items, back order & short count items.
  6. Receive returned goods & inform proper personnel of such items.
  7. Check outgoing product against shipping order to insure proper amounts, weights, bill of lading, etc.
  8. Prepare shipping labels as needed and arrange for the pick-up of outbound orders.
  9. Calculate, plan, load and document trailer load for drop-off to various locations.
  10. Organize/stock/maintain locations as needed. Inform appropriate people of inventory status.
  11. Inform supervisor of inventory status.
  12. Perform safety audits monthly.
  13. Must be able to obtain and maintain internal forklift certification. 
  14. On occasion will be required to work additional hours at the end of a shift to ensure all product is shipped in a timely manner.
  15. Use Microsoft Excel to upkeep records and correspond with customers a necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must have Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
  • Experience and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience
