Practice Area:

 

  • Resort/Hospitality-  You are a proficient Revit user who loves to solve design challenges through creative and innovative solutions. You have experience in hospitality-related work, or are interested in applying your expertise in the realm of hospitality design.
  • Civic-  You are passionate and experienced in the design and documentation of fire/police stations, municipal offices, city halls, recreation/community centers, or maintenance/ transportation facilities.
  • Urban Living- You are passionate about improving the built environment in communities, and have experience in executing, collaborating, and designing complex multifamily mid-rise and high-rise projects.

 

Position Summary:  Architect Level 1 is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture.  Performs work requiring independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and adaption/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.  Independently solves minor problems encountered.  Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and requires supervisory approval on proposed project plans. Architect 1 is a registered Architect or an unlicensed architectural staff level 1 personnel per the AIA. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Architecture (5-year professional degree preferred)
  • Master of Architecture, or equivalent degree from an accredited program. 
  • Licensed Architect preferred with typically three (3) to five (5) or more years of architectural experience. 
  • Proficient in Revit modeling. 
  • Knowledgeable of graphic programs (such as Adobe Acrobat, Sketch-up, InDesign, and Photoshop), and has proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • The Architect 1 has acquired the knowledge, experience and skills of the Architectural Intern 2.

Salary: $64,000-$75,000, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
