The Fessenden School, in West Newton, MA, is an all-boys independent day and boarding school serving 541 students from Pre-K to Grade 9. Position Summary
The Buildings & Grounds Seasonal Worker is responsible for the care and maintenance of the school grounds. This is a temporary summer position, and the individual will report to the Director of Buildings and Grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Collect trash throughout campus

Upkeep of trash compactor area

Police all around the buildings and walkways for litter and trash

Check and maintain swimming pools
-
Weed, mulch, seed, mow and water plants
-
Rake and disposal of leaves
-
Furniture moving and function set-ups
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Schedule

June 3 to August 30, 2024

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Ability to work independently

Successful criminal background check and pre-employment physical examination
