The Consulting Engineers Group (CEG) is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4+ of Structural engineering experience to join the Colorado Springs, Colorado office.  



  • Supervise a small team of engineers, BIM modelers, and drafters
  • Develop job proposals and monitor project budgets
  • Build relationships with existing clients and help establish new clients
  • Direct communication with external design professionals including Architects and Contractors
  • Oversee the development of plans and calculations to maintain quality control
  • Perform calculations in software such as Mathcad, Excel, RISA 3D, and other specialized component design programs as needed


  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis
  • PE license in Colorado (or the ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be highly detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Ability to interact with clients, managers, engineers, drafters, and other employees
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers, BIM Modelers, and drafters
  • Familiarity with building codes such as IBC, ASCE7, ACI318, and AISC Steel Manual


  • Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Revit
