Description

The Associate Project Manager will be paired with senior members of the project management team to deliver custom software solutions to our client base. Projects range in size and complexity, and you will participate in managing the entire software project lifecycle. You will assist with coordination between client stakeholders, software development teams, and QA specialists. You will work to ensure the customer satisfaction and the financial success of the engagement. The team is small, giving you an opportunity to exercise your skillset and learn the craft of project management. This is an entry-level position best fitted for backgrounds in MIS and business technology. THIS IS A LOCAL/PORTLAND, OR BASED ROLE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior project management mentors on driving projects to successful completion
  • Effectively communicate to external and internal stakeholders, both in writing and verbally
  • Create project plans and project design documentation
  • Track and estimate revenue
  • Coordinate software development and QA activities
  • Coordinate and provide software training
  • Rapidly learn new software-based tools
  • Manage a portfolio of 15+ projects

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • MIS degree, or similar education and/or experience
  • Mastery of productivity software and remote meeting basics
  • Experience with basic finance and accounting concepts
  • Passion for valuable technological solutions and problem solving
