We are seeking a Technical Services Project Manager, to oversee the planning, development, and implementation of various weatherization focused projects in support of local program provider and contractor staff as they work to truly make an impact!

Our physical office is in Madison, WI. While this is a remote position, the Technical Services Project Manager will need to regularly come into the Madison office and will also be required to travel to support training and other technical assistance activities primarily within Wisconsin.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Manage the process in support of the biennial technical training event including facilitating planning committee activities, developing and distributing communications, identifying topics, contracting trainers, obtaining exhibitors, coordinating with the venue logistics team, coordinating administrative functions, and serve as onsite lead.
  • Support implementation of programmatic and management training including - identifying trainers, coordinating network input, scheduling, and facilitating training materials development and announcement/registration process.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop engaging online training and support maintenance within the learning management system.
  • Support a variety of workforce development projects.
  • Facilitate new program manager work group activities.
  • Manage Weatherization program support application tools – including facilitating user groups, developing resources, and coordinating updates with funder and developer.
  • Facilitate maintenance and updates for customer education materials, technical program resources, newsletters, and user guides including working with technical subject matter experts, graphic design and IT programmers.
  • Support new training center initiative.  
  • Serve as onsite support for trainings and events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field and experience working in a Weatherization Assistance Program or related field
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus, but not required
  • 3-5 years of work experience in project management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
