Scope

POSITION SCOPE

The Game Producer will be responsible for managing the production of compelling, high-quality video games for AMU Digital Products. The role will acts as a liaison between AMU stakeholders and third-party game developers, overseeing the day-to-day development of game titles on multiple platforms, including scheduling, budget tracking, and quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle. The game producer will be responsible for all game deliverables from milestone reviews to marketing/PR needs.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with executive management team to establish initial vision for game titles.
  • Capture, track and clearly communicate game requirements and scope to all related teams.
  • Develop and maintain game project budgets and schedules.
  • Work with QA to triage game issues at all phases of development.
  • Coordinate with key team members (Prod Owner, Analyst, Design, Art, Tech, Marketing) to drive sustaining updates to games.
  • Assist in maintaining product roadmaps and in performing product evaluations.
  • Identify and offer solutions to resolve issues that may arise with schedule, cost, and scope.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality of games, the productivity of teams and efficiency of AMU processes.

  • Excellent project management & problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of game development process including demonstrated experience with first party submission requirements and ability to clinically evaluate milestone submissions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience as a producer/project manager in the games industry
  • 3+ years experience as a producer in the mobile game industry
  • Ability to demonstrate/provide a portfolio of shipped video game titles
  • Proven experience working with developers (programmers, artists, animators, designers, testers
  • Fluent with Agile/Scrum/Traditional waterfall methodologies and tools
