Skills:
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work in individual and group settings; self-motivation skills; work effectively under pressure; ability to build positive work relationships with internal and external partners; ability to interact professionally with the public and Tribal citizens, and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from a variety of professional, education, and diverse backgrounds. Has lived experience with substance abuse/mental illness and is in recovery. Must be able to collaborate with tribes, tribal organizations, and crisis response centers. Must maintain PRSS certification by completing required continuing education requirements and attending additional training relevant to the position. Must be willing t5o learn, be flexible, and adapt to changes when necessary. Must be able to provide a supportive role for tribal citizens.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of mental health and/or crisis support in preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance is preferred, but not mandatory. Certified Peer Recovery Support is desirable.

Travel: In and out of state travel may be required in the fulfillment of job requirements and training.
