The Southern Plains Tribal Health Board (SPTHB) seeks a highly motivated creative communications professional for the position of Digital Engagement & Multimedia Specialist. Serving as an integral member of the SPTHB Creative Communications team, this role works closely with the SPTHB administration and the Tribal Epidemiology Center (TEC) grant programs, supporting all aspects of digital engagement, content production, and targeted outreach. The Digital Engagement & Multimedia Specialist will provide innovative, timely, and high quality creative support across a host of digital media disciplines and communication platforms including, but not limited to, audio, video, photography, websites, email, social media, and management of internal project management tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, mass communications, or related field or some combination of experience and education
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an operations role at a nonprofit, tribal, media, or related organization
  • Experience working directly with an Executive Director.
  • Experience developing and operationalizing digital media workflows of a program or organization

Special Skills or Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
  • Advanced technical knowledge and comfort using various platforms including Zoom, Facebook, YouTube, Constant Contact, Microsoft Teams, and other third party online tools
  • Video production and editing experience
  • Proficiency and creativity with Adobe Creative Suite software and digital design tools
  • Skilled in basic HTML/CSS programming and content management systems (knowledge of event and training management systems a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate through database systems and software
  • Experience managing online content and multimedia
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal as well as external partners and other organizations
