Description

Assist the Tribal Epidemiology Center (TEC) Core Program Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating the activities outlined in the Indian Health Service cooperative agreement. Provide administrative assistance in the daily operation of the assigned projects. Assist the Program Manager by collecting data, delegating tasks, providing project assistance, creating reports, and supervising support staff. Coordinates and carries out various projects and/or activities requiring initiative and independent action. Ensures goals and objectives of the projects are achieved in a timely manner. Develop presentations and present materials at conferences, to the Program Manager, Tribal partners, etc. Conduct literature reviews. Coordinate events, trainings, and activities with participating Tribes, Tribal Programs, Indian Health Service, state and urban programs, institutions, agencies, and project staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel: In and out of state travel may be required in the fulfillment of job requirements and training.

Conditions of Employment: 1. Full-time grant funded appointment (Subject to grant continuation); 2. Applicants must possess and maintain a current State Driver’s License; 3. Climbing, walking, standing, bending, and occasionally long hours.
