PRIMARY FUNCTION: Reports to the Service Foreman and responsible for the In-Shop floor technical assistance for mechanics and repairs and service/maintenance as directed by the Service Foreman.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-Shop Responsibilities
- Clock on to work orders
- Repair various components of on-highway vehicles
- Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose
- Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications.
- Performs repairs as directed by the Service Foreman.
- Completes all time cards or timekeeping requirements to track labor in jobs.
- Completes all paperwork necessary to perform repairs as directed.
- Notifies Service Foremen upon completion of repairs.
- Other responsibilities as designated by and at the discretion of management.
