Salary:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. At ICES, Inc. we are proud that we pay for experience and performance.

We serve individuals in private residences, public schools, respite facilities, emergency placements, community work sites, training centers, supervised living arrangements, and our own state-licensed group homes.

 

High Level Description:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the direct oversight of five to seven Group Home Managers who provide oversight to both licensed CLAs and / or CRS homes. To be successful in position, the candidate must have proven competencies in manager/ leader development, overall performance management, motivation to empower a high-performance culture. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with occasional second shift spot checks and / or audits. In addition, this position will be included in our on-call system and will require local travel as needed.

Leadership:

  • Direct oversight of a team of five to seven group home (assistant) managers and indirect oversight of approximately 50 60 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and 15 -20 Individuals in our care
  • Collaborate with your peers and senior leaders on the development and oversight of not only direct report group home managers, but also the entire management team of our Residential Department, ensuring team members have consistent tools / resources and processes in place to run their programs successfully independently
  • Leverage company performance management philosophy and process to coach and develop team members to obtain personal and agency goals and objectives as well as effectively oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential department
  • Train team members as needed to ensure overall success
  • Maintain an overall leadership style that follows company mission statement and core values
  • Lead team meetings and ensure all team members are informed and have all required information to successfully do their jobs
  • Management and approval of direct reports time management components (schedule, timecards, PTO requests) and other required items in our HR record keeping and time management system, Paycom. Approval and oversight of indirect reports similar items and functions required in Paycom

Operations:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate measures / metrics for group homes in accordance with best practices and DDS requirements, as well as other stakeholder requirements
  • Work with peer leaders and senior leaders to develop consistency across the Residential teams. This includes but is not limited to processes, procedures, and team oversight

 

Business Partner Relationships:

  • Work closely with partner organizations including Clinical and Nursing, Operations, Facilities, Human Resources, Vocational, etc. to ensure all requirements are met and successful outcomes are achieved in our group homes, with our team members, and our Individuals
  • Partner with other leaders and administrative team members to share expertise and insights
  • Establish effective working relationships and clear processes / messaging for partner organizations including Federal and State agencies, outside providers, vendors / contractors, community members, etc.

 

Compliance:

  • Ensure each group home under direct supervision meets and when possible exceeds all DDS, Agency, and other regulatory agency requirements. This includes DDS requirements, DOL, OSHA, etc.
  • Prepare and guarantee successful outcomes for licensing, state quality monitoring, and audits. This includes putting processes and controls in place to limit exposures
  • Make certain all team members complete all mandatory state and agency trainings within the required timeframe
  • Ensure agency managers are fully knowledgeable and accountable with quality assurance indicators through ongoing training and spot checks
  • Complete state trainings for all updates and new or revised procedures. Train direct report managers and team members as needed

 

Individuals Care and Oversight:

  • Ensure each direct report manager and program is meeting the needs consistently of the Individuals under their care and in accordance with the Individuals plan so they can live their best lives. This includes but is not limited to medical, behavioral, vocational needs, transportation, etc.
  • Know, review regularly, update and maintain Individuals plans as needed in accordance with state and agency requirements

Financial:

  • Operate direct oversight group home programs in accordance with agency and Individuals budgetary requirements. This includes staffing / overtime budgets, petty cash, Individual finances, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is provided for program fiscal requirements, billing, and other fiscal needs

Other:

  • Participate and provide expertise as needed in administrative and team meetings
  • This position requires local travel. A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
  • Participation in a rotating on-call system is required
  • Specific training requirements / certifications that must always be maintained include but not limited to:
  • DDS Med Certification
  • CPR / First Aid
  • PMT
  • Investigator Training
  • Perform special projects / assignments as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must have relevant experience in managing a department / function, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement and relations, policies and procedures, and leadership recruiting
  • Understanding of DDS regulations, funding guidelines, and program models including CLAs, CRSs and IHS
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Therap, Paycom or related HR/time tracking system (possible assessments)
  • This position requires local travel. A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required
  • Participation in a rotating on-call system is required
  • Specific training requirements / certifications that must always be maintained include but not limited to:
