- Option One (1): An associate degree or sixty (60) college units in human services or related field from an accredited college/university;
- One (1) year of leadership/supervisory experience,
- Experience providing direct services with community members and/or youth populations.
- Option Two (2): Three (3) years of experience
- Two (2) years providing direct services with community members and/or youth populations.
- One (1) year of leadership/supervisory experience.
- One (1) year experience facilitating groups and leading workshops.
- Proficiency in English is required. Bilingual English and Spanish (written and oral) required.
- Strong in the areas of oral and written communication, and positive interpersonal relationship skills.
- Knowledge of current domestic violence, child abuse, and elder abuse issues.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365, PowerPoint, and Canva as well as internet research; Comfort in computer network environment
- Satisfactorily complete post-hiring 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification training.
