Licensed Residential Clinical Program Supervisor

Summary

Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Residential Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Clinical Services and Children’s Therapeutic programs at the Residential sites. The Residential Clinical Supervisor works closely with the residential leadership team to ensure all departments provide services using a trauma-informed approach. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to residential therapists, serves as a field instructor to MSW and MFT interns, and supervises children’s program staff and interns.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Program administration and oversight

• Lead weekly Multidisciplinary Team meetings and facilitate the use of a trauma-informed lens.

• Supervise program staff, volunteers, and interns by providing individual and group supervision, staff evaluations, course corrections, merits, teambuilding, mediation, and terminations.

• Supervise Children’s Program staff and interns to assure clients are receiving services in alignment with the principals of Trauma Informed Care to increase resilience in youth and parents.

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to the Mental Health Therapists.

• Provide weekly group supervision for all Mental Health Therapists in conjunction with the other Clinical Supervisors.

• Coordinate the MSW Program to complete and renew MOUs, interview candidates, and recruit the appropriate number of interns throughout the agency each year.

• Serve as an active participant in the Residential Leadership Team.

• Four years of counseling experience, working with adults and children in a mental health setting.

• Two years of program management experience.

• A current and valid California state license to provide psychotherapy (LMFT, LCSW etc.) required.

• Two years licensed in the State of California preferred.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Knowledge of domestic violence.

• Knowledge and principles of crisis counseling.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel and working knowledge of computer database program entry and report generation.

• Complete the 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate certification training post-hire.
