Description

The Coordinator of IT Assets & Support will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of IT assets and providing administrative support to the IT department. The Coordinator will work cooperatively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, supporting the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of IT with special projects, and developing an IT asset management program. This position will be involved in all components of asset procurement, receiving, inventory, deployment, changes, and disposal.

The ideal candidate will use their strong communication and interpersonal skills to respond quickly and professionally to tickets with a high level of customer service. The Coordinator must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and foster a sense of urgency to do what it takes to get the job done. Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications is a must, as well as the ability to advise technology users with varying levels of technical acuity.

Qualifications

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of (3) three years’ experience managing IT assets and user experiences, though a bachelor’s degree in business or technology is strongly preferred. IT certifications related to asset management and/or IT Service Management through organizations such as ITIL or IAITAM are preferred.
