What You’ll Need
- 6 or more years of experience applying your skills and expertise to real-world questions related to public policy, organizational management, environmental management, environmental science, environmental policy or other relevant fields.
- Graduate degree, or additional equivalent experience in public policy, organizational management, environmental management, environmental science, environmental policy or other relevant disciplines is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in the field of land conservation in the public, private, and non-profit sectors with a strong working comprehension of key concepts in the areas of conservation finance, land management and stewardship, conservation law and policy, and organizational management and governance.
- Demonstrated research, writing, and public speaking skills reflecting excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Our Mission
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy seeks to improve quality of life through the effective use, taxation, and stewardship of land. A nonprofit private operating foundation whose origins date to 1946, the Lincoln Institute researches and recommends creative approaches to land as a solution to economic, social, and environmental challenges. Through education, training, publications, and events, we integrate theory and practice to inform public policy decisions worldwide. Compensation Overview
The salary market range for this role is $84,000 - $90,000 depending on the level of education and years of experience.
