Marketing Communications Specialist
Job Details
  • Develop and manage sales collateral for all units and divisions including capabilities presentations, brochures, flyers, and newsletters
  • Revise, proof and edit sales collateral to support our internal sales team members and practice groups 
  • Work with assigned teams on the advancement of proposal presentations and broker qualification summaries (RFPs) for prospective accounts.
  • Support corporate advertising initiatives through the development of marketing collateral and advertisements for industry publications, events and various marketing campaigns
  • Support our company intranet and online platform by keeping up-to date and on-brand sales collateral, marketing materials, training tools and operations resources for easy access by sales team members
  • Assist in email marketing efforts through updates to contact databases and ongoing distribution of materials both internally and externally 
  • Client services support through the development of templates and primary content for capabilities presentations. 
  • Management of employee assets such as employee Bios, headshots, and business cards
  • Coordinate sourcing and distribution of promotional items for client appreciation, trade shows, and industry events
  • Tradeshow support and coordination in maintaining master calendar and distribution of materials
  • Ensure quality of deliverables and enforcement of critical deadlines through effective communication
  • Bachelors degree in communications or similar area of study required
  • Demonstrated skill for delivering high quality products on tight deadlines
  • 2-4 years of presentation design and development experience is required
  • Ability to efficiently handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including abilities in proof reading, editing and copy writing
  • Keen eye for visual details and developments
  • Possess strong technical skills including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated skill for delivering high quality pieces on tight deadlines
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, WordPress
  • Experience with social media platforms to include LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen eye for visual details and developments
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus
