Join a dynamic team of Clinicians as Northern Rivers Family of Services seeks a Fee for Service Clinician (FFS). In this role, the FFS Clinician provides clinical services and counseling to a diverse population of individuals, families, and/or couples through an outpatient mental health clinic that is licensed by the New York Office of Mental Health. 
 
What a FFS Clinician with Northern Rivers can expect: 

  • You will provide clinical, therapeutic and case management services to individuals assigned to your caseload, developing relationships with clients and their families to reach treatment goals. 
  • Completion of comprehensive psychosocial assessments, initial treatment plans/treatment plan reviews, progress notes from each scheduled appointment, as well as any other documentation as indicated per agency process. In addition, continued documentation of all phone/collateral communication. 
  • Management of your ongoing caseload and collaboration with the on-site prescriber and other members of the treatment team, as needed for client care 
  • Attending the Behavioral Health Center staff meetings monthly. 
  • Participation in consistent didactic group supervision with frequency based on licensure level or individual needs; work with supervisory staff and colleagues for collaborative growth; Support to achieve advanced licensure; and Consistent availability of continuing education/training opportunities 
  • The flexibility of creating your own weekly schedule of tele-mental health and in-person sessions, depending on your and the client needs. 
  • The freedom and flexibility to develop your caseload and capability to choose to schedule either a minimum of 5 billable sessions a week or up to 40 billable sessions weekly, depending on personal benefit eligibility needs.  

 

Your experience and qualifications: 

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. 
  • Licensure completion (LMHC/LCSW/LCSWR) preferred, OR must be license eligible and have a limited permit in related discipline.
