General Description:

**Ideal candidate will have 2+ years as an account manager and experience or education in engineering**

  • Continuous analysis and monitoring of markets development and anticipation of future trends
  • Review innovative projects and assess their practical marketability
  • Conduct product specific presentations for customers
  • Lead engineering team through concept development and support the resulting acquisition phase
  • Must develop, implement, and drive business plan for RA-AMN
  • Must stay on cutting edge of technological advances, customer and market demands while abiding changing emission standards and regulations
  • Setting a product vision / defining a product strategy and develop a product roadmap
  • Market products and innovations at customers together with Sales
  • Identify new products and needed competencies for new business opportunities
  • Monitoring and improving products through total value management
  • "Regional Product / Product Group Strategy ( Innovate / Specify and Market under consideration of market information (mega trends, trends, legislation, technologies, customers, regions, competition & products)
  • Regional Total Value Management for related Product / Product Groupwith the goal to improve competitiveness and profitability
  • Define product related regional marketing strategies, actions (promote products and related knowledge) and campaigns
  • Create Business Case for the dedicated Products for the region
  • Execute together with regional Sales S-1 process (how to approach customer)
  • Market products and innovations at customer with Sales

Work experience requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive industry
  • Experience in plastic processing technologies or related
  • Strong understanding of product development with automotive manufacturers
  • Experience with Automotive Customers (Sales, Purchasing, Research & Development or Project Management)
  • Knowledgeable of managing a team without disciplinary leadership
  • Intercultural Experience
  • Experience in business development strategies
  • Ability of analytical thinking and implementation
  • Presentation Skills (incl. communication to multicultural customers and team members)

 

Education Requirements:

4 year degree preferred; BS Engineering discipline preferred

German fluency preferred
