General Job Description:
- Perform and record applicable testing of incoming raw material samples (resin, paint, etc) and disposition in SAP.
- Update and maintain material spec sheets.
- Perform and record results of various laboratory testing as needed
- Coordinate on site and third party calibration of gages
- Maintain gages and gage calibration
- Provide feedback of receiving quality issues to supplier development using SAP quality notifications
- Program CMM for part measurements
- Maintain CMM and related tools
- Measure parts and analyze layout data
- Perform Annual Layout per Customer specific requirements.
- Support PPAP approvals from Customer.
- Prepare and analyze MSA for gages
- Download CAD from company and supplier websites
- Provide CAD models for engineering changes, gages, and part modifications
- Analyze engineering drawings and schematics for gage and part dimensioning, review, and problem resolution
- Program part layouts in "Metrolog XG" software
- Interpreting of GD&T and program the software accordingly
- Other duties as needed
