The KU Memorial Unions has served as the University of Kansas’ community center since 1921, welcoming students, faculty, staff, and the Lawrence community to gather at the heart of our campus. As a nonprofit affiliate organization of KU, we manage the Kansas Union, Burge Union, and DeBruce Center, along with campus residential dining, the KU Bookstore, and a variety of student programs. Our team is dedicated to creating welcoming, student-centered spaces that foster connection, learning, and Jayhawk pride. Join us in supporting the heartbeat of campus life.

WE USE E-VERIFY
E-Verify confirms employment authorization of all newly hired employees and most existing employees through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security. For new hires, the E-Verify process is completed in conjunction with the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification on or before the first day of work. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates. For up-to-date information on E-Verify, go to www.uscis.gov and click on 'E-Verify' located near the bottom of the page.

This may include the completion of a background check and/or a consumer credit check, or other with consideration of the rules and regulations of the University of Kansas and KU Memorial Unions policies and procedures.
