Employees will scrupulously protect the confidential nature of all conversations, records, reports, and meetings where material relative to a client or client’s family is processed or written. Access to client and confidential material and information is limited to those authorized personnel responsible for providing care to the client or for supervisory or auditing purposes.
Release of client confidential material and information must follow the Company’s policy on confidentiality. All records and/or confidential information may be disclosed to third parties only with prior written consent;

If EmberHope Youthville receives any request or demand for disclosure of confidential information by oral questions, documents, subpoenas, civil investigative demand, interrogatories, requests for information, or other similar legal process, EmberHope Youthville will provide Family Tapestry with immediate notice of such request (no later than (1) business day) so that Family Tapestry may seek an appropriate protective order and/or consent to Network Provider’s disclosure of the requested records.
The Company possesses and will continue to possess information that has been created and developed by the Company or has been disclosed to the Company under the obligation of confidentiality. This information is confidential to the Company and has value in the ongoing conduct of the Company’s mission. The Company considers all such information to be confidential and proprietary. By way of illustration, but not limitation, “confidential and proprietary information” includes operating, statistical, and financial data, details of contracts, program designs, pricing policies, financial statements, projections, marketing plans or strategy, new program development or plans, donor and prospect information, operation methods, and software computer programs.
During employment with the Company and after termination (whether voluntary or involuntary) employees are required to keep confidential and retain in strictest confidence all such confidential and proprietary information. Nothing contained in this section shall be deemed to prevent any employee from using his or her general knowledge, intellect, experience and skills for gainful employment after termination of employment with the Company; nor shall it prohibit discussion of information that has been released publicly through company newsletters, annual reports, and special events.
