Description

We are seeking full-time Speech Language Pathologists to join our home health pediatric therapy practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We have one in-clinic position open!

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Our clinic based SLP position at WellCare is a part of a dynamic and growing team. Our SLPs provide evaluations and develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of delays and disorders. These plans are part of a team which can consist of ABA, Occupational, and Physical Therapy, so COLLABORATION is CRITICAL. The demographics for this

position are primarily children ages 2-21, with developmental delays including, but not limited to, ASD.

 

Job Duties

· Completes comprehensive evaluation of the child’s speech, language, swallowing, voice, etc including strengths and weaknesses

· Develops treatment goals and milestones with patient caregivers and families

· Provides services for a variety of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

· Collaborate with patient team (including families and caregivers) to provide comprehensive care

· Maintain accurate documentation through EMR

· Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials

· Plans for patient’s discharge, prepares discharge summaries and instructions.

· Attends meetings and participates in development activities.

· Complies with all necessary policies and procedures

· Other duties / responsibilities as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Masters or Doctoral Degree in Speech-language Pathology

· Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is in good standing

· Must be currently licensed (or able to obtain a license) as an SLP in good standing in the state of Colorado.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
