Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Minimum Experience : Typically, 2+ years professional experience in an office setting with paid experience specific the the job or in a related field.
Knowledge: Must be knowledgeable of cultural competence and behavioral health, specifically suicide prevention. Basic knowledge of public health issues and some understanding of the public health essential services and core competencies.
Skills: Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; presentation skills; decision making and time management skills; excellent problem solving skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; self-motivation skills; work effectively under pressure; ability to build positive work relationships with internal and external customers; ability to interact professionally with the public; and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrate ability to work with individuals from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds.
Experience: Typically 2+ years of professional experience in an office setting. Experience specific to the position or related field. Experience with tribal organizations and/or not-for-profit agency is desired. Experience MS computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Experience of public speaking to groups of all sizes is desired.
